Concise Court Lists (Round 4)
Summary
The project will seek to design and build a tool to scrape data from electronic court lists and arrange the data to enable journalists to more effectively cover the courts.
The solution
The UK Government has been closing court buildings over the last few years and centralising its system, so each court will deal with cases from a much wider area. The problem with this is that court lists have grown to include people who are not local to an area and, as a result, the documents have become very resource heavy to look at and process by journalists.
