Database to generate journalistic story leads (Round 3)
Summary
Our proposal essentially involves a plan to build a database which can acquire, integrate and interrogate large banks of data in order to generate journalistic story leads.
The solution
It is difficult with large data banks to discern individual pieces of information relevant to a story. It can be even more difficult to discern where two or more pieces of information overlap on the same story. We want be able to interrogate large amounts of data to simplify the process of retrieving information which may generate a lead and a future story.
