Free My Feed - Amplify reach of social posts to publisher’s websites (Round 4)
The Free My Feed project will build a simple ad product enabling advertisers to promote their social posts through available inventory on publishers’ websites – opening up a new revenue stream for publishers who are currently excluded from social ad spend.
Brands spend enormous amounts of time and money creating content for social feeds, but up to 70% of the newsfeed is never seen and each network is a walled garden to the next. Unlike social networks, publishers’ webpages provide valuable context and brand-safe environments for branded content. The project will help publishers tap into social ad spend expected to reach $50B by 2019.
