Jornal de Notícias is innovating Portuguese digital newsrooms by fully stepping into a complete new channel: video. Following 128 years of print and 21 years of web presence, web video will enrich JN's storytelling while extensively covering news in the north of Portugal. For the first time, JN's traditional verticals i.e Cities, People, Culture or Health - will go beyond the written word and use motion images to enrich storytelling both in the newsroom's studio and wherever there is a JN reporter - live or with first-class post production, with real imagery or by editing real and infographics.
