Portugal Project type: large Plataforma de Media Privados (PMP)

Summary

Nonius (Nonio) is a measuring tool invented by the Portuguese mathematician Pedro Nunes. Its use led to finer measurements on the astrolabe, improving its accuracy and planning the navigation with a slight margin of error.

The project comprehends a Data Management Platform and a Single Sign-On facility that provides first-party data to the common database. The project is headed by PMP and supported by an initial consortium of six Publishers - IMPRESA, MEDIA CAPITAL, GLOBAL MEDIA, COFINA, PUBLICO and RENASCENÇA - open to other players.

The solution

NONIO is a collaborative project aimed at the creation of a dynamic and innovative system of processing and profiling of digital audiences in order to target and qualify advertising and content.
