Plug&Play Crowdfunding Toolbox (Round 5)
Summary
We have identified and pilot tested key components of a new, sustainable, quality journalism crowdfunding tool. The main purpose of this project is to offer a complete plug&play fundraising solution for independent media outlets, which can be easily integrated with existing websites.
Our project will open an opportunity for media outlets to create quality, professional content without the need for paywalls.
The solution
Our objective is to provide an easy, intuitive, yet fully customisable fundraising and community management solution. The plug&play donation toolbox will be easily customisable and applicable for other media companies’ own webpages, and we plan to offer it as an open source together with its description. On top of that, our tool may be freely used and implemented by NGOs.
