The SEE project aims to provide a certification platform for content and ad safety that also detects and removes fraudulent advertising to create a safe destination for brands and publishers.
Business models based on digital advertising are being eroded by false news, fraudulent advertising that limits safe brand environments and the lack of common measurement criteria (repeated statements and lack of third-party credibility). The SEE (Safety Experience Engine) project certifies content as friendly if it provides educational value, informs and entertains, or highlights actions with a positive impact in a safe environment for different age groups. This gives incentives for brands to invest in premium sites. The platform will also detect and automatically remove fraudulent advertising.
