Thanks to Videomate, publishers can create wonderful videos using tools and features specifically developed for news and editorial production – even if they have no video assets. Starting from texts, pictures and graphics, Videomate will make any newsroom video-enabled.
The solution
Video is now the most important content in editorial production. But a lot of publishers are unable to produce videos because they lack in-house video production capabilities. In newsrooms more readers could be converted if text and picture were produced as video, and even more content that could be used for video is abandoned in archives. The project gives publishers the tools to free the potential of some stories, allowing editors to create videos quickly, without huge investments, and without dedicated staff or organisational change. Videomate will be available as a SAAS (Software-As-A-Service) solution with a flexible, subscription-based sales model.
