Turning streams of comments on news sites into digestible and engaging visualisations and texts - for readers and journalists alike.
The solution
To meet the full potential of its titles' large news sites communities, Tamedia would like to develop new tools to handle the growing number of user comments. Using open source natural language processing software we want to separate the toxic from the valuable user comments - to create digestible visual and written summaries of long comment streams on our news sites. Thereby rewarding dedicated readers and increasing engagement of both readers and journalists.
