With a population of 3.5 million people living in the 12 districts of Berlin, each district has a population equivalent to one major city in Germany. Unlike other major cities these districts don’t have their own newspaper with original quality journalism.
Tagesspiegel LEUTE introduces a new breed of digital original quality journalism - at the hyperlocal level where it is needed the most.
The solution
The goal of Tagesspiegel LEUTE is to develop a holistic (i.e. journalistic, technical and commercial) concept to allow original local reporting even in smaller regions.
