ABPLIVE is a leading publisher in India that serves English and seven Indic languages. It produces breaking news, premium content and high-value editorial pieces that reach over 100 million monthly active users (MAUs) across all the eight languages. Catering to users' needs based on their intent remains a core aspect of ABPLIVE's roadmap for enhancing engagement, improving retention among loyal users, and capturing the interests of occasional users.
ABPLIVE had been looking to build a first-party database which they could leverage to provide a personalized web and app experience and create opportunities to engage through different marketing channels. They wanted to acquire users quickly by driving swift account creation and providing a seamless authentication experience for users. They saw value in integrating One Tap and Automatic Sign-In solutions as part of GIS, which helped users skip the tedious registration process and make the sign-up and sign-in process frictionless. Post the deployment of GIS across all eight language domains, ABPLIVE witnessed a surge in sign-ups, putting them on track to enhance first-party data acquisition for more personalized user experiences.
