The Challenge
Established in 2009 as a daily newspaper, Suara Cirebon transitioned to the digital website Suaracirebon.com in 2015. The biggest obstacle for Suaracirebon.com was the availability of technical resources to manage its digital platform.
The Solution
Suaracirebon.com received support from the Google News Initiative via the Local News Foundry program and training from ProPs. Suaracirebon.com’s website was optimized to achieve a higher overall Core Web Vitals (CWV) score. This includes optimizing and minifying script, image efficiency, lazy load implementation, and localized fonts. The technical training from the program yielded insights and a clearer understanding of the factors driving website performance.
